Well - here's the thing guys. At the beginning of the fall of the DEC empire our mail system seemed to become unreliable. At that time we started loosing tapes and I recalled all I could get. Then a volunteer stepped forward and I sent all the tapes to him. Then after a few months of no activity he had personal problems and passed them back again with no additional revenue ... Then Lamar volunteered and took over. A few tapes were requested and he circulated them but no revenue and no new purchases. Finally Lamar was given the package and I got the tapes back again. I have been sitting on them with no activity (and feeling guilty) for months. Finally I notice that the Downeast Soaring Club is starting an aggressive program of circulation Video tapes. So I volunteered all the DECRCM tapes to them. They will still be owned by the now defunct DECRCM but they have custody. At this time there were 30 tapes. 8 tapes are missing - if you notice you have one please send it to me and I will relay it to the DSC library. If any DEC member wants to view a tape just see Jim Armstrong of the DSC. The residual funds ($8.xx) as I recall are missing and the books (yes there was a set of hardcopy records) are missing. I regret that we can no longer reliably send videos thru the DEC mail and given that problem I believe this is the best use of the remaining resources. Bye --+-- Kay R. You've been a loyal "librarian" and you can now retire. Wash your hands of the whole thing. If you find the 8 bucks, buy lunch. If you find the books, roast marshmellows. I have no problem with sending the tapes to the Down East guys and hope they get some use out of them. Thanks for all the time/effort you put into being the keeper of the tapes.

Might also be useful to put in the contact info for Jim in here. I agree with Steve, thanks for all the time spent. Why I can still remember when I got that Channel 1 video on cutting foam cores in the interoffice 8^) Kay... buy a Fribble!
