Attention ZKO area pilots!!
I have found what looks to be a very nice glider field on Rt 111A about
5 miles from ZKO. I am planning to try to get out there a couple of
times a week to fly gliders at lunch (ala the A.S.S. folks).
If you are interested, please send me some mail and I will put together
a mail list so that everyone can know when folks are heading there..
The field is a new sports field that was leveled last year (I think)
and is growing grass now. I do not know what the plans are in the
future for this field, nor do I know if we can be kicked off.. It
appears to be a city of Nashua field, so I suspect they will be hard
pressed to do anything with us.
(And if we do get kicked off, I know of an alternative in Dunstable
that I think we can get permission to fly on...)

Rt. on Spit Brook Rd.
Conintue as it turns into Ridge Rd. to Rt 111A
Left on 111A
About a mile or so on the right.
If you get a chance, swing by and see if you agree that it should be a
good field.

That field is about 3 miles down the road from me. I have passed it
many times, and had similar thoughts. As long as the grass is
established, I imagine it would make a great noon time glider field.
If it is like the other sports field on 111a ( about two miles closer
to rt 3, it will be mobbed with Soccer players on weekday eves and
weekends, Spring and Fall.
