	Well it's about time I spoke up.

	It was nice to put a face on some of the names in this file. 

	I met the following people at the RC Show at the Shriners
	in Wilmington,

	Charlie Watts, Kay Fisher, EVL-1-Henderson and Jim Reith.
	If I missed somebody I met nail me. I heard Dan Snow was
	going to show up, but never met him.

	A little about me...

	My first note was back in 92 note 1454 which I just read over,
	and boy did I sound like a newbie and... still am...

	My first plane was a GP PT40 ( build up ), and still flying and use it as
	as a breakin platform for new engine ( 40 Class ), and my son who
	is training with it. I went for the ailerons flew a while then
	built another wing with less DH ( 1 inch total ) boy what a difference
	with a lower DH especially will ailerons.

	My first crash was the day I ***was*** going to solo. I was with
	my instructor coming in for a landing, I had a nice sink rate, it was
	coming in real nice, then it happened, about 5 ft off the runway the
	the stab came of the bed. I had about 40 flights on it before this
	happened with no problems. The PT40 cartwheeled onto the runway, popped
	the band and laid over with stab and fin about 20 feet away. Took
	it home cleaned up the bed and mounted the stab, then added some 
	tri stock to widen the stab bed. The servo setup in the wing had to
	be fixed. All in all about 3 hrs of work.

	I soloed the next day and was given my blue card July 93..

	I have an Avistar Arf I am flying with a 46SF, which I have to
	keep the trottle down because the wing keep shifting back if I
	go full Throttle. ( Kay thanks about the tip about bolting it down
	in the rear ). I have had as many as 16 bands on it it and it still 
	shifted and I could actually feel it when it did.

	Building...( On the table )

	Almost done with a NE Trainair 40... We ( the club is having a Virgin 
	in the middle of May ) hope to have it finish by then. Power will 40SF.

	GP Fun-One Fuse all done. Boy did I GOOF on the wing and still laugh
	and get razzed about this one. I build the first wing panel in a jig.
	proud and cocky I removed it from the jig placed on the print
	to cut the spars, then my heart sank, nothing lined up, I had a double
	taper wing, then I realized what I did, I squared the ribs with 
	the spar, I should of squared the rib with trialing edge. When I 
	told Bill to order me a wing kit he looked a me with a question on
	his face. When I told him, he smiled and chuckled. When I finish 
	the NE Trainair 40 I get started on the wings. Will be power by OS32

	NE Sportair 40 	Most likelly the next on the table... Power 40SF??

	US40 This is the plane I am building towards, "My Dream Machine"
	and will be powered by the 46SF that is in the Avistar, I WILLLL
	PIPE it...

	By the way EVL I could see droolling, when looked over the other one.
	and I bet you Bill would have taken a check for it.

	Whoops all most Forgot...

	Someone asked me to give the directions to Bill's Hobby Barn.

	So 93 from the south... Going north from Wilmington.

	93 north to exit 1 ( Rockingham Blvd ). Follow the Blvd DO NOT take
	the Mall Ramp. After the first set of light on the Blvd get over to 
	the right. At the junction of 28 bear right on to 28, you will be 
	going south. Down the Strip count 4 lights ( 5 if you count the one
	at the 28 Junction ), Computor Town will be on your right, a car
	dealer in front of you to the right, next will be a small strip
	mall with Mobil gas pumps, the next strip mall is Larry's Country 
	Square this is where Bill's is at, on the left side.

	BTW...
	
	Bill Said he honor some of the Red Tags special.... Hint EVL!!!!
	for a very short while.

Welcome out of the land of the RO-noters 8^)

It was nice to meet another DECcie at the show. You knew all of us by name but
we weren't sure what you were up to 8^) 

Bill had some great deals...

    Nice to see you in print. Please put some of Bill's specials in here so
    that we can take advantage of them.

    I just called Bill he rather have you come to the store, but He says
    if I go in the store and see the special, He does not have a problem
    with me telling you guys the specials I saw and thought was a go
    deal ;)

    Like the servo prices for JR From Hobby Palace etc....
    
    It struck me that local stores get coverage, eg. Hobby SA, Ray's etc.
    
    RC buyers gets good coverage. But we never hear about Bill's...

    make sure you tell Bill what you do so that he does not get blind
    sided. The other suppliers know that we do it. The DECRCM society does 
    improve its members' buying power this way.
    
    Are you sure he wants me in his store after what I did to/with him at Wil~?
