1536.0. "It's called flox" by NEMAIL::YATES () Fri Jun 18 1993 17:07

    Jim, "flocked cotten" has been used for several years in the
    construction of home built aircraft. The mixture of flocked cotten and
    epoxy us used when extra strength is needed in the joint or to fill
    holes/gaps - it is extrememy strong. This mixture is called flox.

    I used flocked cotten with model epoxy for the above reasons. It is
    most helpful when joining wing spars together and using an outside
    brace to re-enforce the joint. It is also used to seal the firewall to
    the frame.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
