Pyerre Le had asked about the Canadian R/C frequency bands, and I sent
the question on to our Canadian colleagues. With implied permission,
here is the reply from Fern Marques in Toronto. Pyerre should ask a
model shop about the boat and car frequencies [and then enter the
    answers as another reply here].

    According to Fern Marques,

"I have a copy of a letter from Communications Canada saying that all
frequencies in the 72 MHz band assigned for model aircraft radio
control are available for use, including some of the old frequencies
    used by the old radios.

"In the US they have managed to set up the 60 or so channels based on
the newer technology, and AMA is "banning" the older radios the spread
    over several channels.

"According to the letter, we can now use all the channels available in
the US but we can still use the old frequencies (no channel numbers)
within the band. There are still some old radios around and MAAC is
    not "banning" anithing.

"I do not know anything about the non-aircraft radio control channels.

   "Regards
