| Check the ads in RCM magazine. There are several models of training
stand available. The prices range from $100 - $200. I think these
stands might be very helpful in learning to hover, but beyond that
they are of no value. I taught myself to hover before these stands
were available, and had many expensive crashes in the process!
I'm now ready to advance to forward flight, so I'm also looking for
an instructor. Good luck.

| Does anyone know how I can replace the rubber bushings/screws on the
"hold down" plate? Are these bushings/screws really needed?

| As the people befor me said it is a very tricky way to learn heli-
flying. I went to R/C-Heli school (it's almost as expensiv as crashing
1.5 choppers) and then I bought a simulator on the atari-st computer.
It's a realy good thing and it's cheaper than wrecking your (first)
heli. The simulator has a ROM-Package and transmiter-box delivered. The
thing is called AERO-Chopper and is produced some where in Illinois. I
can only recommend using it. Have fun!
