Well as some of you more observant noter's will have seen I deleted my note on 
my library of wing sections. I had some hassle with my disk being used for that 
other operating system. (not VMS)

Thanks to Dan Miner he has made disk space available to store them:-
 
	RICKS::DISK$CFPA:[MINER.WINGS]

By way of a setting of ground rules, let us use the wing section name as the 
file name and the extension as the output format. 

	eg. NACA0018.LVP16;2    NACA0018.PS;1

Dan has also written some conversion programs ...... but I will leave that to 
him to describe.

If any body has a wing section they need and I have the co-ordinates, or they 
send me the co-ordinates I will attempt to plot them. No guarantee on 
turnaround.

I'm sure it will NOT convert ALL LVP16 files correctly, but it should work on the ones that John generates for these airfoils. The program is in the same area as the plot files: RICKS::DISK$CFPA:[MINER.WINGS] and is called: LTOPS.EXE for VMS 5.0 LTOPS_V4.EXE for VMS 4.x. FYI - the source code is also there: LTOPS.SCN and it is written in a new DEC language called VAX SCAN. 	John, I have tried to access you wing library. The directory does seem to exist any longer. Can you give access to the wing library and if possible the source of your program (SCN). Rgds Alfred

	John is no longer with the company. I don't know if his programs exist anywhere currently. There is a DCL procedure which generates postscript files for templates available. It's listed under the postscript keyword. The most recent (by keyword) version is supposed to be 1113.125. I use this for foam cutting templates all the time (Thanks Glenn)

	Yes, that directory has been deleted. However, the PostScript program is much nicer anyway and I recommend that you use that program.
