Centrigugal clutch, well that's what stops the
rotors on my helicopter removing my kneecaps.
'Spect cars are the same.

| Went to hobby shop today.. bottom line is that cars & helicopters
use same type of clutch: centrifugal.
Kyosho is apparently the only mfg of gas powered cars. The parts
catalog gives clustch in pieces, not as unit. And there is no parts
explosion diagram.. I guess I get to call Great Planes ..
Unless.... Its there someone out there with a car or heli out of
commission that is willing to donate a clutch assembly to worthy cause??

| RE: all
Are you sure that a clutch is what you want? Most Dynos. use a
brake. The brake drag is varied to set the RPM at which to read
the torque. A centrifugal clutch will just lock up (engage) above
some RPM. Are we talking about the same thing?

| after some research, a centrifugal clutch may be what I want.
I'm back to my orignal problem: DOes there exist a inexpensive Dyno
set-up that I can use for my engine ?? Do they exist at all ??
