| In Paris there is a nice rock radio station called "Ou FM". Every year
auditors vote for the best album. For 1994 they choosed Nirvana, "Unplugged in
N.Y." I do agree, of course. I love the song "About a girl" and few others. I
just regret something: The singer died (drugs...).
It's curious the way the medias talk about an artist who just died. They
write about him as if he was the best of his generation, even if they didn't
know him and/or appreciate his talent.
Well, I won't say it, but just sing it, "Rape me..." BenJ. ;)

>For those of you outside of the continential US: What music/groups hit
>your country's "Top 10 List" most frequently?
I stopped keeping up to date with the top 10 a long time ago... If
it's worth hearing, I'll hear it on my radio... Good music stands the
test of time as far as I'm concerned, and most of the stuff these days
just gets played once and never heard of again (not usually worth a
second listen anyway)...
>For those everywhere: Who would you say the 10 all-time greatest, and
>10 personal greatest, bands/groups/singers, etc. are?
That's an impossible question for me to answer... It really depends on
my mood what my current favourites are... Constantly changing...

The popular music trends here seem to be a little different than in the
US. Like H, I don't keep up with the top 10 - mainly because I don't
like the current music trends (Pulp, Oasis) which make up the hit list.
Again, my tastes are changeable and our music collection is varied with
the collection ranging from Bryan Adams through Madonna, Elton John,
Rankin Family, Film/theatre soundtracks and Opera.

I'm with Choc..
I really don't like alot of the current stuff here in the UK.
In my opinion, its just alot of no-talent noise that gets played
over and over and over and over.
e.g That song by Supergras which has been played daily since
I arrived here last year on jun 28th. The song goes like this
We are young
We are free
da da da
da da da
( insert you own 3 word phrases and you get the picture )
its called feel alright I think.
Just my opinion...
