    the cigar shape object that has been seen in the last 
    several months is the USSR I believe is the Energia ?sp
    being air transforted on top of a cargo plane.. AW had
    its picture and it had flown about the same time the
    cigar shape UFO was reported.
    
    As for ET they just stop at the park to relieve themselves.
    
    An for the Snow man, they did catch one last week.  Two
    boys capture it put it in their trunk but on the trip
    home it broke out of the trunk an got away...
    
    All sorts of strange stories coming out of the CCCP.
    
    The ET that landed on the park did leave trace of a 
    red stone, simular to red sand stone but as TASS said

    From the description they were 8 feet tall with very small

    Sure, you guys.  Laugh if you want.  But may I remind you these aliens
    are THREE-EYED creatures, according to TASS.  Let's think about that
    for a second.  This means the Commies have the inside track on
    TRI-OPTIC technology.  Who knows what fantastic weapons could result
    from this development?  It could mean the End of Western Civilization
    As We Know It, or at least start a new trend in eyeglasses in London
    and New York.  Either way, we cannot allow the Godless Reds to have
    superiority in tri-optics.  I propose a crash program to develop a NATO
    capability in tri-optics, to be followed by a international consortium
    which would develop fabulous new devices to confront this threat from
    the Stalinist Horde.

     In this modern age of Glasnost and the inherent distrust of the
    Soviet people for anyone, including themselves, It could well be
    a hoax of a story, that the Tass editor decided it was wise to publish
    as it could well be a test of his contribution to Glasnost and to
    prove that Tass prints all the news and hides nothing. Of course
    the editor knew it was a hoax, just that Glasnost comes first, that's
    all.

    My guess is that they landed at the park, got out to look for a good
    place to eat, and realized that they had left their American Express

  From the report I read, the only people claiming to have seen the alians are
three kids out of a group that was playing ball near the town. 

  I'd guess Tass is reporting a story that came from the imaginations of three
young people.

    by the aliens.  "we are taking it seriously because it comes form

    news shows reported the alliens because of TAss reputation for
    journalistic integrity, many agreed taht the reality of the Voronezh

In hindsight this item is really amusing. What evil empire? The Ronnie dreamup?
As far as I can tell there's only one world dominant power populated by the 
planet's largest community of cocaine users and illiteracy - according to 
puplished information.

No, I think .8 got it right - isn't it just amazing what covers CIA is able to 
dream up. This age is going to be facinating to read about in the history books
to be written just a few 1000 years into the future... how the Dollars 
prophets Ronnie and Georgie descented in a cloud of white flour and set things
right. And how Georgie after that set the bush on fire, purified the mind of 
the people, restored the rainforrest and founded the Galactic Empire. Then 
follows the adventures of Han Solo & "Lucky" Luke Skywalker. 

It is obvious that TASS will a god-like creature guiding the politbureau
to explain the rate of changes; though we in the west prefer to think that
it is our 'good' influence, which is finally sinkin' in.

Now that democracy has come to eastern europe, we can finally start hoping for
the west ;-)
