A friend heard an interesting rumor last weekend that the northern lights will be visible tonight around midnight (eastern mass I guess). Anybody else know about this or might have more info?

| This question is probably more appropriate for the LDP::ASTRONOMY
Conference. Press the KP7 or SELECT key to add ASTRONOMY to your
    Notebook.

| A magnetic storm watch was posted last Friday with maximum effects
to take place today (June 27). This was supposed to have affected
the Aurorae. I did hear that the strength of the storm is to be
less than originally predicted but its probably still worth a look
The orignal news story is in the easynet, hamradio and satellite
    notes files, fyi.

| Actually, this topic is covered in LDP::METEOROLOGY. KP7/SELECT
    will make a notebook entry.
