| Due to traffic on Rte. 128 at rush hour, I'd recommend that the
basenoter from New Hampshire approach Framingham from Rte. 495.

Along the same line, it might be easier, simpler or faster to get on
the Mass. Turnpike from Rt. 495. (keep going past Rt. 9 exit off of
Rt. 495, it's about a mile further south on Rt. 495)
Head towards Boston and you'll be getting off at the very first exit.
You'll give Mass. a $.50 contribution I believe but traffic on
Rt. 9 can be heavy.

347.4 | Send mail to LJOHUB::SYIEK for a small map | LJOHUB::SYIEK | | Thu Oct 31 1991 14:34 | 17 |

I have a brochure from the Sheraton Tara that includes a small map. I'll be
glad to send a photocopy of the map via interoffice mail to anyone who
requests one by sending mail to me at LJOHUB::SYIEK (remember to include your
mail stop). You could then give a copy to anyone else you know who wants one.
The map is a bit misleading in that its annotation provides directions from
the Mass. Turnpike only. However, it does show the proximity of the Tara to all
major highways, so it might be helpful to anyone not familiar with the area.
Just in case, though, I recommend that you also print the directions furnished
in the previous replies to this note.
So that you'll know what to look for, the Tara is a monstrosity of neo-medieval
architecture with "battlements" fronting a Tudor facade. It's so ugly you won't
be able to miss it!

There is no hanky-pank involved with accessing BEIRUT::DCU. The issue
is purely technical (so far) and involves lots of people trying to
access it over a limited number of connections while some Digits are
trying to get some Digital work done on the same machine.

Since the base noter's at ZKO, he'll easily recognize the Framingham Tara.
The one near ZKO is just as hokey.
