14.1 | my vote for Homer | WORDS::BADGER | Can Do! | Fri Mar 06 1987 08:43 | 15 |
|
My entries here seem to have been seen by two candidates running
for office. At the conclussion of the exchanges, I can only say,
lets give HOMER CATES our SINGLE vote! Lets give the directors
a message. Homer appears to be a regular person like us, based
on that, maybe he might know what its like to earn money and
use a bank.
There's a lot of work to be done by the directors, so it is possible
that they can loose touch with reality. Maybe limiting terms to
one year and only allowing a single term would best serve DCU?
just my opinion

14.2 | How Do We Know & Can We Have A Say? | SWATT::LEEBER | sNOw More! | Tue May 12 1987 18:03 | 9 |
| Just how does the DCU notify the membership of holiday closings?
My expectation is that the DCU information publication that comes
with the monthly statements would be one way that the DCU can and
(I think) does let us know. I guess the question posed is more on
the line of how we members can influence the selection of "optional"
holidays (when NOT required by law to close).

And along the same lines,
"How can we members prevent another New Years disaster" with all
but one branch closed, and both ATM networks out of service?
That was unacceptable to say the least!

14.4 | Tell the board of directors | EXIT26::STRATTON | Trespassers will be violated | Wed May 13 1987 22:38 | 7 |
| The board of directors decided that the DCU should be closed
during those days in December. If you do not want that
to happen again, tell them. (Their names are in another
note.)
