1420.1 | Had problem, fix works | RIPPLE::KOWALSKI_MA | Dogs Flew Spaceships! | Wed Jan 03 1990 10:41 | 1 |
| The suggestions worked for me...after I selected the new entry ;-)

1420.2 | to be *really* sure you've seen 'em all... | AIADM::SPENCER | John Spencer | Wed Jan 03 1990 16:12 | 9 |
| And if you're really worried you might have missed one reply somewhere due
to this problem, as I was last week, follow .0's procedure, except:
SET SEEN/BEFORE=DEC-25-1989
Log in after hours when network response is faster, settle in with an
eggnog, and catch up. ;-)

1420.3 | | MORO::SEYMOUR_DO | Life's a reach, and then you jibe | Fri Jan 05 1990 19:31 | 6 |
| Thanks for clearing this up. I was having serious Whitbread
withdrawals seeing that "no more new notes" everyday. Finally I went
in and checked anyway and found all the great updates I'd been
missing. All fixed now.

1420.4 | No new "UNSEEN"s" ????? | ILO::SPENKELINK | Cheer up ! It may not happen ..... | Mon Jan 08 1990 08:58 | 8 |

Yes, it worked for me too ! Had the same problem: "No unseen msgs"
but delete/re-enter worked the problem.
Thanks for the suggestion.

1420.5 | now all I gotta do is catch up ... | BOOKS::BAILEYB | A waist is a terrible thing to mind | Tue Jan 09 1990 08:52 | 9 |
| Of course, if you were getting "No new notes" like I did, you didn't
see this note either. I thought everybody simply lost interest in
sailing over the holidays. I was beginning to have Whitbread withdrawal
too. A simple SET SEEN/BEFORE="YESTERDAY" got me back on-line, without
the need to delete and re-enter the Notes conference (of course I
missed a few notes, but that's OK).
