Yes I am thinking to buy the boat. But I do not have info on Columbia.
I have been sailing only Olympic boats. Largest was a Soling.
My intention is to buy somethig to be able to sail along NE coast.
From ME to CT and use it with my wife and son (9) .

    Thanks

    Ivan

There is a wide variety of Columbia's out there. I need more info on
the boat you are looking at. Columbia has several designs and were
built in California, Virginia, and lastly in Canada by Hughes before
going out of business several years ago.

The original Columbias were designed by Sparkman and Stephens. (my
boat is an S&S design). Then Bill Tripp became their designer with
some of the larger boats being desined by C&C and others.

I have an address of a place in Maryland that purchased all the old
Columbia stock from Whiticker (sp?) Marine when they went out of
business. If you want it I'll dig through my stuff for you, but I
    really need more detail.

RE: .-1 Jeff

Not really about Columbia boats, but Jeff!!! How was the trip and how's the
Boat??
After our trip 3 years ago you wrote a note in here (somewhere, I don't remember)
about what you'd do differently- did you??

I'm glad to see you made it back in one piece but, please, tell us about the trip!!
