1097.0. "hunter 32 vision" by JULIET::KOOPUS_JO () Tue Jan 10 1989 12:57

i went to the two boat shows in sf this weekend and really liked
the the new hunter 32 vision..its like a freedom with a freestanding
main...it has the best layout i've ever seen for a boat this size
and price...62,000...if anyone sees this boat at the boston show
i'd like your comments..the boat i really wanted was the 35s5 by
    benateau...hot..90,000

Almost bought the Vision 32; was even offered a $ of $55 loaded
with electronics because it was used at the Conn. boatshow. However,
bought the Hunter 33.5 (1989 version) because of the layout. Didn't
need the high tech (and expensive) boom. For living puropose with
another couple, the 33.5 offered more privacy. The '89 has some
of the features of the 1988 hunter 30 - windows and rear platform.
For $50K, this included roller furling, VHF, sound/depth

Quite possibly so, but only if you never leave the dock. I think it is
an absolutely wretched layout for anything other than daysailing. I can't
imagine trying to sleep aboard underway or even at anchor.

Re .0 With the used boat market as it is, I can't imagine spending
anywhere near $62k on a 32 footer, especially a Hunter. Alans remarks
are dead nuts on target. There are a LOT of good clean used vessels
out there looking for a home that will not cost much more than half
    that.
