1306.2 | OK on that suggestion | DROO::WEYMOUTH | AI SELECT Business Development Mgr | Tue Aug 02 1988 15:37 | 7 |
| OK, I allowed all .SDML file to be copied, but not everyone has
VAX Document. If you want to do it this way, copy all *.sdml files
and process $DOCUMENT COOKBOOK REPORT destination /CONTENTS
Good luck.

1306.8 | Is It Still Out There?? | SPKALI::FRANK | | Tue Sep 06 1988 09:59 | 11 |
| From all the replies in this note, it sounds like quite a cookbook.
My only question is if it is still available out there as noted
in .0 ( I think ). I have tried to find it out there but I keep
getting directory not found. Can somebody tell me where it is now
or send me a copy. I have been looking for the cookbook location
as follows:
DROO::DUA1:[RECIPE]COOKBOOK.LN03
Thanks,
Frank

1306.25 | New Release of the Cookbook V 0.2 | DROO::WEYMOUTH | AI SELECT Business Development Mgr | Tue Dec 27 1988 17:10 | 20 |
| Updated Cookbook resides at the same location:
38372::DUA1:[RECIPE]COOKBOOK.PS
38372::DUA1:[RECIPE]COOKBOOK.LN03
38372::DUA1:[RECIPE]COOKBOOK.TXT
These are large files, one for each type of output. For those of
you not familiar with the standards, PS is Postscript, TXT is text
version, and LN03 is for LN03 printers.
38372:: is the location for DROO::, use either, but DROO:: might
not be defined on your machine.
The postscript version has 240 pages, and has all but 190 recipes.
I am now spell checking and reorganizing the recipes. Indexing will
follow in the future.
Good luck. (It is twice the size it was back in August.)

1306.100 | Send me your DTN and Mailstop too ... | OCTAVE::VIGNEAULT | We're all bozos on this Q-bus | Tue Dec 12 1989 16:09 | 7 |

Re: .99
It would also be useful to provide your mailstop and DTN when sending
your order.
Thanks, Larry

1306.104 | regarding "me too" replies and external publication | PSW::WINALSKI | Careful with that VAX, Eugene | Wed Jan 03 1990 18:19 | 18 |
| Two points:
1) Please handle orders for the new cookbook by sending MAIL to
OCTAVE::VIGNEAULT. Do NOT request a copy via a note in this conference.
TURRIS has neither the CPU time nor the disk space to waste on "me too"
replies. I will be cleaning up the replies to this topic when I get the
chance. I have write-locked this topic to prevent any more replies.
2) The idea of publishing a COOKS NOTES Cookbook via an external publisher has
me very concerned. In addition to being a violation of corporate policy
(publication of notes without the author's prior permission, disclosure
externally of DEC internal use only material), it may also present a
copyright hazard--there has been no screening to make sure that material
posted to this conference is public domain.
I will be discussing these issues with Keith and Larry.
