    There should be a few Hibs fans to add to this note so it,s time it was
    started.
    Story so far Rangers 3  -   Hibs  2
    
    Tonight Hibs lost there unbeaten run , considering they have played
    arround 14 or 15 games so far this season this is been quite a start to
    the season after the hassles of last season. I don't think they'll be
    leading the pack at the end of the season but at least they'll get into
    europe and do better than the normal rep's who represent the Scottish
    league.

    Hibs are alive and kicking.One defeat from an average Rangers team that 
    can`t progress any further than the first round in Europe,or take their 
    chances against the great Hibees in the Semi Final of the Skol Cup does 
    not mean the Hibs are dead.We rose from the dead last season and we
    shall succeed in recovering from this minor set back from the Huns.
    Once we take the scalp of Dunfermline at Hampden we shall then be a
    force to be reckoned with in Europe again.

          The biggest joke is that you have to quote a defeat
      that the Hibs suffered from against Aberdeen because over 
      the past recent years Rangers have never been able to cope 
      with a poor Hibs team.
          The first game of the season when Souness took over as
      Hitler with the Gers he proceeded to sharpen his studs and 
      run them down the shin of George Mcluskey,did this prevent 
      the Hibs from gubbing you? NO IT DID NOT.
          The Hibs have had the worst 5 years I have ever known 
      but still we manage to cause the Huns problems,now we are 
      back to compete with the best in Europe and we will crush 
      the Gers every time.
          Admittedly we got beat tonight from the Gers but we shall
      learn from this and never again fall to such depths of depression
      and anguish to be beaten by scum like the Gers.

    	something wrong. The Hibs have never came out of the
    	depths that you said they were in for the past 5 years.
    	14 games unbeaten ( before tonight I hasten to add ) 
    	doesn`t necessarily mean that the Hibee scum can cope 
    	with everyone, never mind the tops clubs in europe.
    	Just like three of the scottish clubs this year, if Hibs 
    	do manage to beat Dunfermilne in the Skol Cup Final, they
    	too will get well and truely F**ked out of Europe in the 
    	first round next year. Unless the buy some more truely
    	amazing and superb players like Joe Tortalano !!!!!

    Re .3 > I think your right about us being average, I also think we're
    entitled to be average considering that we've got a virtual team out
    injured/ill/international call-ups and were forced into re-shuffling even
    during last night's game, now correct me if I'm wrong, but were Hibs 
    not fielding their strongest possible team last night ?, with the
    possible exception of Sneddon -) -).
    
    I'll give you this though, Pat McGinlay looks a very good player,
    probably Hibs most talented..........the final score was actually 4-2
    and not 3-2 as was stated earlier.
    
    Considering the Pars recent performances (4-0 gubbing last night again,
    at home to Falkirk) I think your optimism is justifiable, but sometimes
    finals have a nasty habit of turning on their head, incidentally the
    score was 3-0 for the sheepish grinners against Hibs in their last Skol
    cup final appearance.
    
    I think that the Hibbies will have to replace Quasimodo Burridge before
    they start venturing into Europe, he looks even worse than Goram -) -).

           I don't care one way or another that you's Scum from Leith
    won a mickey mouse cup,after all beating major clubs like
    Ayr United Stirling Albion,Kilmarnock,Rangers and Dunfermline
    and all away from home you's deserved it.As for the Jambo's not being

    	Come on Colin, let the boyz have their fun, leave them on
    	their high horses for the moment. You never know maybe the
    	Hearts will be able to get a draw on Saturday and take a
    	point. I think though, that Hibs thoroughly deserved to win
    	the cup on Sunday, which had their names on it from the night
    	they beat Rangers at Hampden. This game was really their Final
    	and after a good and well deserved win, Hibs lifted the cup.
    	Jealousy will really get you nowhere, especially to Hampden.
    	At least Hibs never put out a record in the charts when they
    	reached the Final, because as you know Hearts did the year they
    	thought that they had the League and won the cup, I tell you
    	I was one of the happiest people in Scotland on those two days
    	when the were, beaten by Dundee and Celtic snatched the League
    	and beaten by Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup final.

    I have just recovered from celebrating after Sundays great achievement.
    And what do i find some eejit Jambo slagging off the Hibs in this
    conference.Surely it is a great achievement for the East coast to
    break the Western monopoly on Scottish Football.Both Hibs and Hearts
    have proven in the last few months that we can compete and beat the
    Rangers and Cetics of this world.
    
    Just a pity the eejits fae Gorgi can`t beat the likes of St Mirren,or
    be able to win a trophy of any significance.Putting all that together
    it goes without saying that when the jambo`s arrive at Easter Road on
    Saturday it will not take long for the Hibs to send them back to that
    hole where they live in gorgi with their tails between their legs.Long
    live Wallace Mercer who is doing a great job in the downfall of a once
    crap team now getting worse.

    Hibs 1 Hearts 1.....A fair result over the piece...
    
    I'll save Colin from writing a reply in here, I'll quote what I think
    he'd say, "Lucky Hibee Scum, there was only one team on the park".
    
    

    Hibs stumble against Airdrie with a 2-2 draw. Looks like this was a bit
    of a scrappy game with 3 of the goals coming from penalties, two for
    Airdrie and one for Hibs. Three players were sent of Willie Miller of
    Hibs and two from the opponents.
    
    Hibs really need to start winning these games in the league if they
    want to stay in the top 5. They face a hard game on Saturday with
    United away, the best we could hope for is only one point dropped. I
    hope I am pleasantly suprised though.......
    

    After dropping two points against the Hearts and Airdrie i really
    think we need to win up at Dundee.Two points there would keep us up
    with the rest oh the crap up there at the top of the league.
    With Celtic now out of Europe i think there will be a bit of transfer
    movement between them and us.We desperately need another striker up
    front to help Wright.Coyne plus money for McGinlay,that would suit me
    fine.That way we would be sure of hammering the Hearts on new years
    night.Although rumour has it that Wright and Coyne don`t even get on
    with each other.Still who cares.
    
    
    p.s. don`t take it to heart Colin.(the gorgi man).in fact i will even
    keep you a seat on the bus to our first round tie in Europe next year.

    There is no way I want to see that talentless,slow Coyne in any Hibs
    forward line and I hope for Hibs' sake Alex Miller thinks so too
    especially after seeing his performance last night in the european cup
    tie. There is surely a better deal on the market somewhere, what's Andy
    Ritchie doing these days???.

                 At least the Tynecastle faithful turn up every week,
    they don't just turn up for finals.I beleive your average crowd is
    down to about 6000 for home games now,so much for the glory days
    returning to Easter Road with great crowds every week.As for your

    Hibs'hopes of a glorious cup double vanished at the piggery
    as SUPER sub Owen Coyle blasted Airdrie into the Scottish cup
    semi-finals.Coyle's 84th minute strike just added to Hibs misery
    as only 9 minutes earlier they had seen tommy McIntyre miss from the
    spot after a very dubious decision I might add,and 3 minutes into
    Injury time Sammy Conn completed the agony when he took a Coyle pass
    to make it 2-0.Hibs lost Mickey Queer after 30 minutes after a

    out of Hampden certainly are'nt gracing the Easter Road terracing this
    weather.A crowd of only 13000 turned up to see them on Tuesday night
    play Rangers (and most of them were Gers fans)..
    I beleive after your defeat at the hands of the mighty Airdrie that
    the fans leaving the ground were mumping there gums saying
    'that's our season over'  which of course is  perfectly accurate
    but after all the ballyhoo at winning the cup and gaurenteeing
    Europe I thought the least you's could do Is go and see the Scum somtime
    not just once a year.

    Pitty the Hibs are out, they played good offensive football. 
    I went Yesterday evening to see the match. Interesting match with
    many occasions of scoring.
    
    The Hibs supporters were also more noisy than the local ones. Are all
    scottish fans so noisy, or do they shout even louder ?
    
    About the match, Hibernian really disturbed Anderlecht to the last 
    minute. Only for that they deserved more than just a draw.

    Ibrox on Saturday instead of that  1 9 1 system they usually play.
    It's always better to see Rangers beating teams that play a bit rather
    than the usual spoiler tactics.The only time there are more than 3 Hibs

    out in Fife.The flares and harrington are a bit worn out now but they
    will still be worn on Wednesday night when we kill off the cup dreams
