956.0. "paranoia minus delusion" by SSDEVO::EGGERS (Anybody can fly with an engine.) Fri Apr 03 1992 12:57

    My dictionary says:

paranoia - ... characterized by delusions of persecution or of
grandeur, strenuously defended by the afflicted with apparent logic and
    reason.

So, I need a word with the same definition except that "delusions"
    is replaced by "actual cases"

????? - ... characterized by actual cases of persecution,
strenuously defended by the afflicted with logic and reason.

Doesn't "persecuted" say it exactly? What's the matter, is this too
grand a word for you? Huh? Too logical? Quit picking on me.

"harried," "hounded," and "tormented." Work getting to you,

Actually, my basenote request was an outgrowth of the DCU conference,
concerning whether the reformers there are paranoid or in actuality
"persecuted, harassed, oppressed, harried, hounded, or tormented."
