    FWIW -- I got my 1997 Pats Season Ticket Renewal Bill in the mail on
    Friday.  I expected the prices to go up -- but my tickets went up more 
    than 20% --- from $32 per seat to $39 per seat.
    
    Oh well, I guess it's good old simple economics --- supply and demand.
    Whenever there is a big demand, you can expect the prices to go up.
    This is the first price increase in 3 years, but .... jeez.
    
    There was a letter from Kraft also enclosed which says "in order to
    continue fielding a competitive team" and "we don't have the income
    other clubs do from luxury suites so ticket sales continue to be our
    primary source of revenue" and blah blah, blah .....
    
    I dunno .... if the 1997 home schedule didn't look so good (Green Bay,
    Pittsburgh, Bears (?), Miami, Jets with Parcells) I'd have to think
    again about spending $800.
    
    Ah, but what the hell ---- I work hard for the money and I deserve some
    fun (see, you can justify anything) !!!  Still a little bummed out by
    the big increase, though.

    I hear ya Dennis!  My wonderfully cheap end-zone seats went up
    only $3.00 but that letter was such a bunch of B.S. I wanted to puke.
    I love the "Paid in Full by April 11th" requirement as well....

	I still have not received mine yet, but the last time they were $28.00
 and went to $35.00..... So I would guess that they'll go up to close to
 $50.00 ;-(...... I'll have to see what they really are when I receive them.

    My season tickets went from $32 to $39, a buddy of mine has $35 seats they
       only went up to $39.

    That must mean all the sideline seats (with the exception of the chair
    seats, which used to be $50) are now priced at $39 each.  They used to
    price the sideline seats from about the 5 or 10 yard line to the end
    zone at $32 and the "better" seats at $35.
    
    If all sidelines are $39, looks like I'll ask them to try and move me more
    toward mid-field if there's no increase in ticket price.  Hey, what the
    heck, they moved my seat in 1996 from Section 312 (upper tier) to
    section 211 (middle tier) because I asked them to move me lower and
    more toward the middle of the field.
    
    Maybe I'll end up on the 20 or 30 yard line this time (ya, right) !!!

    No --- I sit in Section 211 (sideline seat in the end zone).  I wish I

    Small world --- I sit in the same row you do --- Seats 26 & 27.  Stop by
    and say hello -- I'm usually there with one of my boys (Ages 19 and
    13).

	In the T&G this AM, they listed the Tix price for all the stadium.
 End zone $23.00 from $18.00, Family section $28.00 from $25.00, Corner
 seats $39.00 from $32.00, Sideline $39.00 from $35.00, and the Chair back
 seats between the 30's?? 40's?? $60.00 from $50.00........

    Endzones are $26.00 -  it's been about 5 years since they 
    were $18.00.

    	The paper also said that last season the Patriots were the 18th
    most expensive ticket in the league. With this hike it brings them up
    to 11th.

    I might as well start my PLEADING now!!  If any of you guys/girls are
    looking to lighten up your financial load I'll split or take some
    pair's of tickets off your hands for me and my son/wife or buddies!!!

    Yikes, $1200 bucks a year for my 2 tickets now.  I'd almost be
    upset paying $60 a seat, till somebody gave me 2 tickets to the
    see Celts last night...
    
    Balcony seats...  for the Celtics...  $40.  
    
    Yeesh, the Pats are a bargain.
    
    Still, I feel like asking Kraft if, when he *does* get luxury
    boxes, if tickets will go back down.  :^)

    Sean,

 I remember him saying that if he gets his new stadium with all the boxes,
 possible PSL's that he would like to keep the average ticket at $40.00 ea,
 so that the normal folk could come and see a game.......

    You got the chair back seat to keep you butt from freezing, so that
 should be worth the extra $20.00 ;-). The aluminum seats are a little tough
 and cold on the back side ;-).....
