| I have the latest Lime Rock Park newspaper hanging outside my office in
PK1 if you want to come by. It's going to be real exciting there that
weekend.
Unfortunately I'll be at NHIS for the 3 day NER weekend. Rumor has it
that Monday at NHIS that weekend will use the oval and the 2 end
chicanes, as apposed to the road course. I'll believe it when I see
it.....

| Jim,
Thanks. I have the paper too, but it doesn't break down the day's
events in any detail. To be fair, this just came together a number of
weeks ago, so they may not yet have developed a final schedule. There
are probably TV schedule considerations as well.
I can't see them doing much more than the the IMSA Exxon races and the
Trans-Am on Monday. Maybe the World Challenge?
Is that paddock going to be crowded or what. I was at the
FF2000/Busch race in October and it was packed.

| George,
Given the hype (and rightly so), it should make for a very nice day but
a BIG crowd. Go early and stay the day (or weekend....).

| Lime Rock put on a pretty good show on Monday. The weather held off
for the majority of the afternoon (I left during the Barber Pro event),
and there was some great racing to be enjoyed. The Trans-Am was
particularly entertaining, with Kendall's drive from last to second a
major highlight. I was on the hill opposite the pits and didn't see
Fellows' shunt until I saw it on TV. That was a bell-ringer.
Saw Dorsey Schroeder in the paddock during my walk through. He looked
really relaxed and confident, having a cup of coffee and chatting with
the crew. Also enjoyed watching an animated conversation between
Mauro Baldi and a few crew members, none of whom looked very happy to
be there.
I also enjoyed Taylor and Weaver trading paint (well almost) in the WSC
race.
Even my wife liked it!

| So did any of you, like myself, drive through Great Barrington on the
way home from Lime Rock about 45 mintues before the tornado touched
down? Scary.

| We headed east through CT and missed the festivities. We did stay
overnight in Stockbridge on Sunday, though, right next door to Great
Barrington. I understand the GB Fairgrounds were wiped.

| Oh by the way, you SCCA types will be happy to know that the Skippy
Barber school cars are *not* powered by Neon engines. No, according to
the blow-dried yuppie I spoke to in the Barbershop tent, they use
"specially designed racing engines" in the cars. Oh of course, and I'm
going to be the first Italian on Saturn.
Somebody better tell ChryCo. :-)
Also forgot to mention that Tom Kendall *kissed* Dorsey Schroeder
during Dorsey's post-race interview on Prime. Yeech.
