| RE: Schedule
Hmmmm........
In order to have a race one week away from Montreal that would imply
that it be somewhat close. Anyone heard of potential North American
race sites?

| Would they be able to do a Mexican race one week after Canada? Would they drive
the transporters that far or fly everything down?

| Supposedly the June 18th date is for the Brandy Station track in
Culpeper County, Va. Since they haven't turned a spadeful of dirt
yet, we can assume the chances for a US date in 95 are slim.

| Looks like the Jordans will have Peugeot power next year and the McLarens will
have Mercedes (or Ilmor) engines. Where that leaves Sauber is anyones guess...

I have never heard of the Brandy Station track. Can you elaborate?
There does'nt seem to be a real good chance for a US GP next year, I
agree. I would like to see a US GP at Luguna('cause I like the
circuit), or Road Atlanta('cause it's only 3 hrs away and I have a
place to stay in Atlanta). Road Atlanta, I believe, put in FIA curbing
a few years back and there were rumors of F1 comming there but it never
panned-out. I also like the Road America circuit. Just about any
circuit in the US would have to be extensively upgraded to host F1 now
that the safety issues are more strict. Lunguna would probably require
less work than Road Atlanta. R/A would have to move some earth to
satisfy the run-off area requirements. I truly do not wish to see
another street circuit host F1 here.

| Brandy Station is a new track planned for Culpepper, VA, about 1 hour south of
Washington, DC. It's right in the middle of some beautiful country and some
Civil War battle sites as well. There have been problems getting the zoning and
'impact' statements for increased traffic/noise/etc.
If they haven't started work on it yet, it's very doubtful there will be an F1
race there next year.

| During the short interview with Hill during the race, his closing comment was
'we'll see you next year' or something similar. It gave me the feeling that
Hill would be staying with Williams for 1995. Have the Williams drivers been
confirmed for next year yet?

| RE .27
Just read the Cars_UK notes conference that Frank Williams has con-
firmed Hill "absolutely" for Williams in '95. Still much speculation
as to whom will be the #2 driver.
Looking forward to the '95 season...

| Latest word is Hill and Mansell for Williams in '95 and Hakkinen and Coulthard
for McLaren.
