Jones Still Critical
Dayton, Ohio -- Page Jones, son of 1963 Indy 500 winner Parnelli Jones,
remained in critical condition Tuesday night with head injuries sustained
Sunday in a sprint car race.
Jones, 22, of Torrance, Calif., was listed in critical condition at Miami
Valley Hospital in Dayton, hospital spokeswoman Kathy Goodrich said.
A United States Auto Club statement said Jones was also unconcious.
Hospital officials could not confirm the report.
Jones was injured when his car flipped during the feature event at
the Eldora Speedway near Rossburg. He was leading the race at
the half-mile dirt track.

| Latest update on Page is that he is conscious and his condition has been
upgraded from critical to serious. Sounds like he is starting to recover
ala Ernie Irvan.
