Hi Folks, I'm off on vacation touring around the south west of the US with a group of friends on Honda Goldwing Interstate 1500's. We are flying out from the UK to pick the hire bikes up and hence luggage is a bit of a problem. Is there anyone out there who knows (or can find) the internal dimensions of the hard luggage on the Goldwing Interstate. This would be a great help in planning what size of rucksacks/bags to take. Any help much appreciated. Kevin.

Kevin, All of the 1500's have the same dimensions. Saddle bags are approximately 18" long, 12" high, 5" deep in the front, 8" deep in the back. Travel truck is big enough to hold to full face helmets and two lite jackets. I would recommend using soft luggage. Each saddle bag can hold your average gym bag (not heavily loaded). Hope this helps without being too late. John C. Colorado Springs GWRRA chapter director. | |||||
