2341.1 | ferry service to P'Town ... | CUPTAY::BAILEY | A pirate looks at 40. | Tue Jul 07 1992 11:01 | 9 |
| There is a ferry that runs from Boston to P'Town ... it's operated by
the Bay State Cruise Company (phone # 617-723-7800). One way passage
is $15 per person ... and $5 for a bicycle.
Alternately, there's also a ferry from Plymouth to P'Town ... Cape Cod
Cruises (508-747-2400).

p'town to sturbridge is 200 mi per the pmc route. springfield is another 30
as the crow flies. falmouth is way south of the shortest route. there must
be an abundance of good routes as ct and ma are fairly rural in these areas.

there is a boston/p'town ferry. but i don't know much more.

2341.3 | details on PMC route? | SHALOT::ELLIS | John Lee Ellis - assembly required | Tue Jul 07 1992 14:27 | 11 |

Thanks, Craig. 200+30 miles seems like a nice two-day jaunt.
(Pat did 171 miles with me on Saturday, starting in the mountains,
so she should be up to 115 mpd.)
Can you give details about the PMC route? If you did the Pan Mass
Challenge, do you think the route was reasonable for a solo rider?
Thanks again (also to .1 for the ferry details!).
