Gamache's in Fitchburg, Mass., is a good shop, but I don't know
about their MTB selection. Fitchburg is on Route 2A probably
about 30 miles southwest of ZK. Ask around for a map if you're
interested or give them a phone call.

| RE: .0 JB,
Check out note 1763.* there's a good list of shops to check there from
someone in a similar postion as you.
I can't speak for who will carry bikes with suspensions but a few phone
calls should tell you who to go and visit...

JB,
If you have a car you might be better off shopping in New Hampshire
remember NO state tax, this will save you a few dollars to put
towards accessories. Cycle City in Plaistow, has some real nice
mountain bikes. They also have a few with SHOX they carrie KLIEN
and have some top of the line TREKs, they also have Aluminum and
carbon composite frames. They are located on route 125 in Plaistow
and although I don't have the phone number with me, they are in the
Yellow pages. They have a racing track not too far from the store and
a team. So they are pretty informative as far as frame and components
are concerned.

Yeah, but when I picked up my Cannondale in CA., there was no sales tax on it.
The only condition was that I had to take it out of the store on the box it was
delivered in. No great hardship as I was taking it back to the U.K. on the
plane anyways. Therefore, I would sugeest you concentrate on finding the right
shop and not worrying about the sales tax.
Cheers,
Tim

| You can never tell about sales taxes and the willingness of dealers to
help you avoid, but try. If you want to call some shops, here are some
NH shops, call to see if they have anything first.
