    Ed,

That makes you one of the very few in here qualified to shout their
mouth off, yet you're always diplomatic to the likes of me who do but
    aren't.

I've always been qualified to spout about things the likes of which
I know nothing. That's what it says on my degree if you translate
    it into English.

Has anyone else gotten an invitation to participate in a
"People to People" excursion to China? (4/4 to 14/4 '91)

(I've exhausted my quota of base notes for now, so I stuffed this here
so it can be lost forever is there's no response....)

I received a notice 2 weeks ago and another last week... I'm not
going to participate (but really would like to some day).

I also received an application from Fitchburg State College to
participate in a (free) study being conducted on cyclists ranging
    from 18yrs. to 55yrs. old.

They'll do the whole run down, e.g. Vo2/oxygen processing, upper to
lower body strength ratios, anaerobic (30 sec.) analysis, etc... I
mailed it this morning. I hope they respond. I'd really like to get
    this done... (especially for free).
