| For a pre-recorded update on RAAM, call 1-900-410-RAAM. I haven't
been able to call today so I can't give you any up to date info.
Does anyone know if this race will be televised at any point?

it won't be around before the beginning of next year.

361.5 | Sue won the women's division. | NOVA::FISHER | Twice a BMB Finisher | Fri Sep 08 1989 11:01 | 6 |
| I didn't write down the name of the male winner. Sue Notorangelo
won the women's division, uncontested since the other two women
had dropped out, in 9 9:9 to be the 7th finisher overall, for a new
women's record.

361.6 | Paul Solon | SHALOT::ELLIS | John Lee Ellis - assembly required | Wed Sep 13 1989 04:59 | 6 |
| Paul Solon (name from memory) won the men's RAAM. He is a rookie,
from California, and leapfrogged the lead repeatedly with Secrest
(racer and 1987 RAAM winner, after several attempts), so his win
was kind of a surprise, at least to me.

| I found the HPV RAAM results.
Five days one hour and four minutes.
They hit speeds of 70MPH on some of the downhills.
Also, Bob Breedlove did a round trip ona diamond frame in 22 days.
