o Jaguar have entered three cars for the Daytona 24-hour race on Jan
30-31, and are expected to enter a full team for the Le Mans 24-hour
event next June.
Tom Walkinshaw Racing are preparing Jaguar XJR-12s for the American
event, which Jaguar won in 1988 and in 1990, and in both years they
went on to win the French Classic event.
o Derek Bell, 51, three times winner at Daytona, will drive a Nissan at
the event in January.
Maybe we should start a 'NOT the WSCC/WSPC Le Mans (Group C) 1993'
note?

It does not supprise me in the least, In fact pretty much as expected.
I expect that Le Mans 1993 will be a good event, miles better than this
year. Le Mans never needed Balestra or Fisa the race was there whatever
happened. Daytona and Le Mans have so much stigma attached to them ,
everyone wanted to enter or win or both. I would expect to see teams
like Kremer,Joest,Courage,Schuppan loads of spice's all come out of the
woodwork. The cost was too silly , so was the racing. 1993 is back to
grass roots racing. Much more fun.

I trust you meant 'prestige', not 'stigma'. If there were great stigma
attached to Le Mans, nobody would enter the event.
