| That's pretty slow from the network leaders of the world!
Perhaps you could handwrite it out quicker!
Sounds like a nicely thought out piece of software.

1364.4 | Please... | MCGRUE::FRENCHS | Semper in excernere | Thu Feb 21 1991 12:23 | 14 |
| There are some of us out here who do like the DECwindows interface. So for us
who do use it, please don't poste large notes without prior warning.
I believe the problem is being worked on by the Notes people.
Comments like "$notes :== notes/nodecw !!!" does not really help. If I wanted
the notes interface to be character cell I would have not run as DECwindows in
the first place.
So, until DECWindow Notes is fixed, please have a little consideration for us
DECWindow noters.
Thanks,
Simon.

| Turned around, could DECwindows Notes users please remember that most
charachter cell interfaces are 80 column wide, anything over and we see
blobs.
(Yes I know about eve set width xyz then ^Z, but it ain't natural is
it.)
P.S. Simon, how do you get around not having an entry editor?. must be
tiring wrapping and indenting manually?.

1364.6 | I hate wide windows as well. | MCGRUE::FRENCHS | Semper in excernere | Thu Feb 21 1991 16:06 | 11 |
| Richard,
Doesn't really bother me that much not having things like a spilleng chocker.
I always try to ensure that I don't go over the window width. As for indeting I
just use <TAB>.
Cheers,
Simon. (Spell check would be nice though)
(Come and see me working DECWindow notes one day).
