Anyone know of a reputable tyre fitter within a few minutes drive of DEC Park? I need a new tube (can they be repaired a la Bicycle tube?) for one of the Marcos' wheels and it has to be done BEFORE the weekend, so the local (to home) fitter is out of the question. Thanks Mark PS The puncture is due to a large nail through the tread!

Mark, Try ATS, come out of DecPK, turn left into Reading at the small roundabout, and it is on your left, virtually next door to Millenium. (about 2 miles) Carl

I second ATS - they are always very good and don't even try and sell me a new tyre when its not needed (or PHH keep them in line :-) ). Jc

Well I'll third ATS. They repaired the tube (for 5) and balanced the wheel for me. They were friendly and courteous (not especially usual!). The only thing I can complain about is that they left a lot of muck on the wheel, which being alloy need cleaning up. Mark |
