1114 is a mistake. VTX FLEET is inacurate to say the least. You have to
check with fleet admin. About 2800-3200 supplement holder cost.
Mind you I know some people who got good deals by mistakes made in
by Digital/lease company. They found out AFTER delivery. Tough. :~)

So what exactly did Fleet Admin call desk tell you when you inquired?
Why hasn't it been removed?

Apart from the Merc, what else have you spotted?

1037.3 | Almost ordered one ! | LARVAE::BROWN_N | | Thu Apr 19 1990 17:54 | 9 |
| I know someone who tried to order against the 1114 quote. She phoned
Fleet Admin to see whether or it was a mistake, and was told that it was
genuine and that she could order it. To snap the bargain up she took
a signed order form to Fleet Admin the next morning, only to be told that
it was indeed a mistake and would be taken off VTX asap.
well it was worth a try !

Nothing specific just hearsay from people who have tried to order of specific
quotes then followed the same process as .3 suggested.
As to phoning up and telling them about mistakes, well, we all know how busy
their phones are don't we? I unless I'm in the process of ordering a car I
don't think I'll bother.
Still I can hope I'll stike it lucky one day..A Jag for less money than
Ford. Being paid to take a Skoda. On second thoughts I don't think so :-(

1037.6 | thanks a lot | SEDOAS::EMERY | | Thu Apr 26 1990 11:21 | 12 |
| Hi Folks
Gues what. I am the poor pratt who had requested the quote on the 200E.
The electronic mail arrived one hour after I went on holiday. Car
Fleet tell me that they have had over 50 enquiries from idiots asking
if the quote is genuine -- surprise, surprise this flagged the problem
to them. So mutt here returns from holiday, gets all excited about
the quote, orders it and is now told to bog off by Fleet (when they
eventually answered the phone). Thanks one and all.
