    Peugeot has re-lauched its new (high-end) 605 last week + this week
    in Cannes. The Palais des Festivals, well known to all readers who have
    participated in previous DECville's or -world, was fully booked to
    receive the event. The walls of the Palais were covered with enormous
    605 signs. Some 2000 (approx.) dealers with their spouses invited from
    all over Europe. All have eventually driven back home at the wheel of
    a brand new ... Peugeot 605. 

    Every night in Cannes one could see a train of car transporters (each
    carrying 8 x 605s fully trimmed and registered) going full speed down 
    the Croisette to the Palm Beach Casino/Restaurant ... and going back
    empty to some place west of Cannes sometime later ... At midnight the
    guests were offered a firewoks (12 days in a row). Lots of Peugeot signs
    and hostesses at the Nice airport and at numerous places. It was ...
    PeugeotWorld (or PeugeotVille ?).
    
    Watch out !  2000 new 605s during easter week end everywhere !
