I am at present , still expanding my collection of model/toy
    Volkswagons, the old air-cooled type.

I currently have about 27 or so models, 20 of which are Beetles.
6 campers, and one PORSCHE 935 speedster(1958 type)
They range from 11mm long, to 10 inches long, Made from various
    materials,

Some are; a tin friction model, a 4wd electric "monster
beetle",convertables, a beetle wax candle, and a set of 5 VW campers
made from Chocolate.(used to be 10, but I ate the other set)

If anyone out there has any old Beetle models they know of, or don't
want then give me a ring... please!

A PORSCHE 935 Speedster!!! WOW! (and 20 years before the 935 they
raced at Le Mans too!). :^)

    Sorry, couldn't resist it! :^)

    I think you probably mean a 356 speedster (I hope I don't get ripped
to shreds for being wrong now!).

While we're on the subject of silly things such as toy cars, does
anyone have an address or phone number of these places often mentioned
(in car mags) which provide spares to recondition old Corgi/Dinky/etc
    cars?

    I'm especially interested in Corgi parts. I've a 3 wheeled Mini-Marcos,
a Batmobile without the Dynamic Duo and a P6 Rover with a missing spare
    wheel carrier cover (and wheel).

    Any pointers gratefully received.

In Weymouth, at brewers quay, there is a small "model" shop. He
seems to have loads of dinky/corgi parts. You could try him. Sorry
    don't know the full name/address

Grab a few back copies of Practical Classics.... they run a regular
feature on model cars and toys and you're bound to get some addresses
of repairers/renovators/sources of bits in that.
