| I own a 1980 4/4, that I bought new. The car is still in
perfect condition, better than new even, for some aspects.

| Luc,
Is that the BRG one I sometimes see parked in the road outside the
Evere office, in summer?

| Yeah, but it's in my garage. I took it off the road, partially because
it's winter, but mostly because the insurance with green card went up
by 75% to 1640, 36 years old, full NCB. I offered to limit my mileage
to 2000 pa. and they offered 10% discount in return. I declined their
kind offer. I'll think about putting it on the road again this summer,
subject to sensible insurance rates.

I insure my car (1966) with Norwich Union on a limited mileage (3000
miles) agreed value basis (16k) - 220 fully comprehensive. This type of
insurance does not have NCB.
My green card costs 10 per week. I have to renew it every 3 months
since they don't offer anything longer than 3 months. I have just
renewed it for the 6th time.
This amounts to 740 pa. Worth a try?
