Hello, I'm off to Protaras, Cyprus in June, has anyone visited and what's your opinion? I'm going with my Husband and 3 year-old daughter and we did not want an extremely lively place nor completely silent so hopefully this is a happy medium. Thanks, Gill

Hi,
We went there a few years back - certainly then it was a perfect choice
for what you are looking for - i.e 10km away from the very lively
resort of Aya Napa (sp!) but Protaras itself was much quiter. It is a
very nice place. My understanding is that Protaras has been growing in
popularity over the last few years and hence getting busier. Should
still be very nice...
