| Well, we've decided to do a cruise for this "once in a millenium"
event. Most cruise lines are taking deposits now to put you on a list
of people who will be offered the opportunity to take the cruise line's
millenium cruise. We have put a deposit down for Celebrity Cruises so
far, and may also put money down on one other line. The way it works is
this: Sometime in 1998 the cruise line will decide on the dates, ports
of call and price for their millenium cruises. Thoe on the deposit list
will be offered the choices in order and given somewhere between 7 & 14
days to decide yes or no. If you decide no, you get your money back in
full. If you decide yes, you are committed and can only get a refund if
you buy cancellation insurance. We felt is was worth the $500
investment to assure us of something to do on New Year's Eve, 1999.
We wanted to go on one of the sailing cruise ships, such as Windstar or
Club Med, but they seem to be either fully chartered or else booked
totally already. So, we're back to a normal ship. You'd be surprised,
but many hotells, resorts, cruises, etc. are ALREADY fully booked for
Dec. 31, 1999. So, if anyone out there is thinking of doing something
special, I urge you to book it quick!

I'm not too surprised; I've heard that everything at Walt Disney World in
Florida is booked up already...

| We have also booked a cruise to include the date 12/31/99, on a Royal Caribbean
megaship going somewhere warm. We are on a list, but the itineraries and
ships are not set yet.
This weekend we also decided that we will be getting married on that cruise...
on 1/1/2000. now I'm *really* excited!!!!

Great...I can't wait to hear where we'll be going....of course I'll *have* to!!
Almost all of the nicer hotels in Boston and New York are totally booked for
that date already. There is one hotel, I believe the Plaza in N.Y. that is
refusing reservations until Jan 1999. I've also heard that Disney World
Accomodations are all booked up, including a resort that is not even built yet.
That's going to be one wild night all over the earth!
