2100.0. "Caution: Route 13 south to route 2 east in Leominster" by NETCAD::MORRISON (Bob M. LKG2-A/R5 226-7570) Fri Mar 07 1997 16:23
If you are trying to get from route 13 south to route 2 east in Leominster
and don't have recent experience with this, beware.
Going south on route 13, cross over route 2 and immediately turn left onto
"ramp". So far, the signage is OK. The tricky thing is that the "ramp" is
actually a street and doesn't go directly to route 2. After about 300
feet, there is another street on the left which turns into a ramp onto
route 2. Here is the problem: THERE IS NO SIGN AT THIS LEFT TURN SAYING TO
TURN HERE FOR ROUTE 2. And if you keep going straight, you will quickly get
lost.
Further, there are two "Do not enter" signs at this left turn. The signs
actually mean to keep right of the divider, but on approaching this turn, it
appears that the entire street is one way the other way. Don't let this
confuse you. Turn left, keeping to the right of the barrier, and you will
shortly see a sign saying to go straight for route 2.
If you do miss the left turn, you can go another 300 feet or so and come to
a signal at which you can make a U-turn. (There are no signs prohibiting a
U-turn here.)

They've also made another change in that area. I believe you're
talking about the Searstown area. You can no longer exit Searstown from
the exit nearest rt 2 if you want to get back to rt13. You have to turn
right only there. If you want to exit to rt 13, you have to go out the
other exit.

There is a light at this intersection now, with left turn arrow so it is more
obvious that you can turn there. But still no "To Rte 2" sign (yet?).
