| Diego,
What is needed is what platform is booting the LPS printer.If it is
a VMS machine then there is a Utility that can be used to configurre a
LPS printer with an IP address. It is invoked by:
@sys$manager:LPS$CONFIG.COM
Just select the line number to change the IP address. Or set your
default to LPS$SUPPORT. In this directory will be a file called
lpsconfig."node_name_of_printer". Edit this file and change the ip
address field from none to the addres you want to assign it. Add tow
other fields:
subnetmask 255.255.255.0 "Or the correct one for ypur subnet"
gateway "gatway or router ip address"
Reboot the LPS printer and it will now take on the ip address.
