Just noticed this entry - a bit late for this engineer, perhaps,
but the answer (below) may help others.

Note 7072.0 LPS32 service guide - error 1109.0090 No replies

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We have just had a tussle with an error code of 1109.0090 on an
LPS32. This became more of a problem than it should have, simply
because this error code IS NOT documented in the Service Guide
	(EK-LPS32-SG.A01).

In the end, it was simple - this error code displays in FTM only,
if the upper input tray is missing. Not a big deal, you say?
You're right, of course, unless you are trouble-shooting another
problem, then THIS code sticks its head up and you can't find it in
the book, and along the way this code is taken to mean "whatever the
other problem was that you first went to fix !!!"

Suffice to say, the book should have this code in it !!! Which
then leads to the question "What OTHER codes exist that are not
	documented in the Service Guide?"

And so, the question:

Is there an updated Service Guide (past Rev A01) that includes this
error code (and perhaps ALL possible error codes) for LPS32 ?

OR, Is there any other source of ALL possible error codes for LPS32
( so we, and others don't get caught again ).

Regards,

Les Benbrook,
MCS Brisbane

PS	the 0092 code means the same top input tray is there, but has no paper
       in it.

Thanks for the info. In looking thru the book, I noticed the query bits
on page 6-15 match the error codes here. If so it would follow that:

    .0092 means upper cassette empty
    .0093 " lower cassette empty
    .0094 " lcit not raised
    .0090 " Insert upper cassette
    .0091 " Insert lower cassette

Not sure if this is correct, but it would make sense. I don't have a
secret decoder ring for the rest listed on that page though.
