         There are some folks that like Phish in here. See note 237.
         Chris will eventually state his position if ya don't see
         it in 237 ..
    
         I might have to do Europe in July if no shows happen before Fall

    I've been thinking about a Phish notesfile for a while.  I believe that

Hey,

I was thinking about this on the ride in (since I saw the call for a
phish note yesterday); knew it was a matter of time...

I was thinking instead of "pigeon holing" the note to a single band
a la grateful (which more often than not is not about music :) why
not expand it to include others of the same ilk (I hate saying
something like neo hippy groove bands) :)

just a thought....
not a phishhead though I did see them once and enjoyed what I heard
even though I thought it was more "cute" than anything.  Especially the
bowling shirts and the dresses.  But it's supposed to be fun and it
was.

    It seems as if enough folks in this group would keep it 
    alive and well.  How do we get this thing going???

    Whups, I locked up there, sorry.  Anyway, what I was saying
    was that I think if anyone wanted to mention concert dates, tape
    trees, etc. of other bands, they could do it here, but most of
    the bandwidth will more then likely be about Phish.  Like,
    for instance, Trey  & FIshman are doing two shows at the Academy in New
    York with other jazz musicians on April 1 & 2...but both those
    are sold out.                    
    
    Well, I guess we just need someone to start it......

    I just scanned note 237 (wow, 900+ replies) I it seems that
    there are some very knowledgable Phish folk out there!!!!
    Let's get this thing going, I would do it myself if I knew
    how.  
    
    I am excited about this, 'cuz rec.music.phish really gets
    to me sometimes.  For those that read it, some of the posts
    are awfully annoying at times.....there are a lot of 15
    year olds who have email access.....you can imagine....

    Poeple on the internet are still raving about the quality of this 
    show...quite frankly, I remember very little except for "The Real Me" 
    and my personal favorite "Bathtub Gin".

    There IS a HORDE mailing list.  isn't nearly as much garbage as
    r.m.phish and there's TONS of good info about up-and-coming bands that
    are really into the groove.  (Leftover Salmon, Strangefolk, Hypnotic
    Clambake... not to mention established bands like Phish, Allmons, BT,
    etc)
