Since Chris was a contractor, there's no tfso. I suspect the Logistics
folks would want to pick him up but given the foul taste he got from this
experience, I don't think Digital's his first choice. This episode sadly reminds
me of how Phyllis K. found out, via fax, of being tfso'd.

Great timing, I wonder who the scrooge was to do this so close to the
holidays. If the work went to logistics, maybe there is a chance for
him to slide over too. You can only hope.

This is disturbing news! I'm hoping if Chris is not working he can
at still get out for a brew once in awhile now and expand his
musical interests a bit (time to check out Phish).
I'm sure what ever Chris does next he'll be successful at it.
Have not heard from Chris in here .. does that mean he's gone already?

After reading this I called Lablanc's house this morning to find out what
the deal was. He wasn't there, but his Pop told me that the sour grape
may be back working at NIO next week.

Yes. The boy stopped by my house on Tues eve of last week and told
me of his sudden dismissal. On Weds eve he called and said he
would very likely be working at NIO shortly.
(This is when I posted my nasty note about him. T'was a joke ya know!)
I haven't talked to him since Xmas, so who knows.
But let's enjoy this peace and quiet while it lasts...

2-Jan-1996. Less than a 2 week sabatical. Not bad.

The punk called me (again! UGH!) today with most excellent news.
He's going to be in ACTON, not NIO, starting Tuesday of next year.
It *is* turning out to be a joyous holiday season afterall.

hey chris - just got my Slipknot flyer in the mail last night -
& they're playing at the White Horse on Jan 20 and it's not so
very often that they play in NH and coming back is kinda dependent
on a good turnout and I love to go see them when they play so
close to home but I'd love to come to your pahty too...is the
date for your party cast in concrete yet?!? (geesh, not TOO forward
am i?)
