| I took a quick look in a few topics -- anyone happen to recall the string
wherein the tunes listing for Jerry's last show was posted?
Just wanted to check it out vs. the boot CDs that recently surfaced --
Jerry's Last Show 1st Set (7/8/95) and Jerry's Last Show 2nd Set (7/9/95).
Note the dates -- something bogus or extremely sloppy there... - Jay

Matching 62.* against (my memory of) these 2 CDs...
> Jerry's Last Show 1st Set (7/8/95) and Jerry's Last Show 2nd Set (7/9/95).
... the discs have the first set from 7/8/95 and the second set (w/
encores but missing the leadoff Shakedown Street) from 7/9/95.
Either these are discs 1 and 4 of a 4-CD set of July 8-9 (which was *not*
my impression), or a pretty odd concoction. I suppose I'll look again...

| > where did you see these boot cds? are they for sale?
Yup, they're for sale at an upscale hole in the wall in Lexington Ctr. [if
you want more detail, like the name of the place, let me know, will
probably stop back there this afternoon]. It's a block off Mass. Ave., in
back of WaldenBooks etc.
Everything in the store is overpriced (not surprisingly for low volumes
and the lease price they must have to pay) -- but they're wired into folk
and roots music. And bootlegs. They only keep a couple dozen in store,
but have an extensive catalog (with cut listings) and will order anything.
(Naturally the listings for Dead, Dylan, Beatles et al. run for pages...)
As of Sunday they had two copies apiece of 7/8 Set 1 and 7/9 Set 2. - JayC

To avoid further polluting this string, I'll take further comments on
these boot CDs to another string -- maybe "Commercial" for lack of a
better option. - Jay

I'd kinda like to have 'em too, so I figured I'd post a

or just borrow the tapes for a week and copy them
myself.
Send me mail if you'd be interested in helping out.

In the umpteen weeks since I agreed to trunk this show, I haven't
managed to make it into the radio station once. By the ways things are
going, it doesn't look like I'll get there soon.
So, I'm going to suck it up and say "I blew it, sorry" and offer this
trunk to someone who has all that nice equipment (at home!) just
sitting around waiting to be used.
Anyone?
