What ever happened to REX FOUNDATION night ? Are proceeds being
donated this go-round ? I notice all nights are priced equally.

467.5Box number correct?JARETH::BSEGALThu Jul 20 1995 14:439
I hate to ask but please humor me anyway. Box 8150 is correct instead
of 8190? I know the address changes from time to time and that 8190 is
what's on the mailing instructions from a couple years ago I think
but I never could get through to the hotline to confirm. (Tim, please
    don't take offense. I'm a suspicious editor-type by nature.)

    Thanks.

From what I heard thru various sources, 8150 is the correct box#
for this tour. It changes from 8190 to/from 8150, and vice versa ;-)

The best thing to do is to get thru ot the hotline, but 8150
is a pretty good bet given the # of consistent sources...

When I had my PO stampted at the Maynard Post Office, I asked the clerk if
she had seen any of "these" today. She said that she had seen several -
but she had only been working about an hour. MOSS starts before the ink
is even dry on the postmark. :-(

At the Salem, NH Post Office, the guy said I was the 4th, and
it was at 13:00ish. THAT'S LOW!

I think people are just planning on crashing the gate instead.

No sweat. Littleton P.O. gets quite a few of these due to us LKG'ers
as does Maynard with MSO there.

If history repeats itself ~95% of us will have our mail order filled,
85% of that 95% will get seats on the floor for one or more nights.

I made it to the main post office depot in Rhode Island in Providence
at 7:00 a.m. and had mine handstamped. I'm pretty sure I was the first
one there. I was the only one there.

In line at the DCU in Maynard, two people ahead of me were buying
AMX money orders... :) The woman in the post office in Maynard hand-cancelled
my order: "Must be that time of year again..."

I went to the P.O in Merrimack... The Postal Clerk told me he
had sold a bunch of money orders for similar amounts and said
"must be that time of year again." He was pretty cool. He also
said that several envelops to GDTS had phrases written on them
to the effect of "No Gate Crashing" and "If You Don't Have a Ticket,
Stay Home."

Thank you for the information about the box number. I had already
mailed the ticket request early that morning (the first, I believe, at
the Tyngsboro, Massachusetts Post Office) and had assumed 8150 to be
correct. Just wanted to make sure!

As far as gate crashing is concerned, while Boston has rarely, if ever,
had a significant incident, the fact that these are the last shows at
the old Boston Garden before it gets torn down might attract more
ticketless people than usual. We'll see how it goes.

There was a little blurb in today's Boston Globe which stated
that Brokedown Palace will be a staple during the coming BG
shows, according to Bob Weir (interviewed at the Newport Jazz
Festival).

It also announced Ticketmaster info...wristbands available
tomorrow (8/10/95) at 3:00PM, tickets on sale Saturday at 10:00AM.
