434.3Seth Jackson! WESERV::ROBERTSclimb a ladder to the starsWed Dec 07 1994 09:2334

Who amongst us remembers Seth Jackson! He had posted a message to
the 'outside' Grateful so I sent a note to see if indeed it is OUR Seth.
Attached here are excerpts from a note from him. He is married, lives in
Hollywood and his wife's name is Etsuko.

You can send him mail at: [email protected]

Hi Carol,

Etsuko and I moved to Hollywood because we hated that old apartment in
Van Nuys, and Hollywood seemed to make sense because it's close to the
music business. Etsuko got a job downtown working for a bank, and Hollywood
is also convenient for her. To the rest of the world, Hollywood represents
glamour, but a lot of what's known as Hollywood isn't actually in Hollywood
anymore, and to the locals, it has an image as a slum. But we found a nice
little pocket of unslumness to live in, and we like it here.

I just had my first 3 songs recorded and released by a band. The band is
called the Carheads, and they do albums of car songs only, in different
styles. I have 2 songs on their Rockmobile album and one on theor ablum
called Country X-88. The albums are on cassettes only, and they call them
Carhead Car-settes. Cute, isn't it?

                       ----

didn't know he was writing music....so when you say car songs do you
mean Cars (a Boston band) cover songs ? or just songs about cars ?

I think Ill drop him a howdy...
