395.0. "Chia Garcia" by STOWOA::FEDELE () Thu Feb 17 1994 12:51

    Howdy,

Last Sunday (Feb 13th) my lovely wife gave me a "grate" birthday
present. She gave me a Jerry Garcia chia head called a "Grateful
Head". Jerry's terra cotta head comes complete with psychedelic
glasses and plenty of growing seeds.

This is my very first chia. I've taken it to work and started
the growing process. The instruction say it take ~2wks.

FYI - she bought it "Mi Casa" at the Methuen Mall

re: Jerry Chia head

Wow, that's pretty cool! I may have to go up there and check one out. Too bad
I rarely get out to Methuen. :-)

PS. do you have a sister or daughter named Suzanne?

My friend has one, you would be amazed how much it look like ole'
Jerry once it grows out. The fun doesn't stop there though, let the
Chia run out water. As as the water goes down, the grass (or hiar)
starts to die back and you get a balding Jerry.....

    Its a pretty neat item.

Is there a Mi Casa between Framingham and Methuen, and not as far west as
Worcester? Boston maybe?

thanks,

I think that the Mi Casa in Greendale was converted to a different
    shop..:( Not sure though.....

There is a Mi Casa in Boston in Faneil Hall. It's in the same building
    as the foodcourt....
