Yeah ... what a discovery ... great stuff!
Thanks to Ken Hannan for bringing me to that Country Joe show a couple of years
ago. Country Joe is still a liberal hippie pinko Communist, and still plays
and sings great. Gotta love it.

| re: .5. Yup, I remember that night. Country Joe sure had an electric
look in his eyes when he came out for the second set :-) :-0 :-)!
I'm still trying to figure this one out. Barry Melton is the Fish,
right? So what was the name of the rest of the band?

| I haven't seen that yet, but I did see the DVN boradcast last week
where, IMHO, Bob and Dave were a hit. I was going to mention it,
but not being a Dave, it wasn't high on the list, and I guess it
slipped my mind.

351.14 | :^) i liked it!! no special prices for daves though... | ROULET::DWEST | if wishes were horses... | Mon Jun 07 1993 12:15 | 30 |
| well, this weekend my saturday plans got all jumbled up and i ended up
with a little free time saturday night... well, Rochelle and i
decided to go check out the movie!
if any of you are wondering just what being a Dave is all about, well,
you simply MUST go see this film! :^) the hero (Dave, naturally)
answers the call and performs admirably with his dave-ness shining
through... selflessly performing acts of grateness with no thought to
his personal fame or reward, Dave makes the world a better place to
be... which, in reality, is at the root of all dave-ness... :^)
through thick and thin, good times and bad, Dave continues to "do the
right thing" and enrich the lives of all he comes in contact with...
Dave is witty, funny, charming, all the things the reviewers have been
saying about it...
oh, another important point, the villains name is (drum roll please...)
BOB! :^) :^) :^)
so, anyone looking to put a smile on thier face and further
educate themselves on the concept of dave-ness, this movie is for you!
and daves everywhere can now celebrate and rejoice in their daveness,
for it is now recognized as being truly a beacon shining bright for all
to see! :^)
yours in eternal dave-ness,
da ve
