44.0. "Our very own FAQ?" by CSCMA::M_PECKAR (spinning that curious sense) Wed Jul 15 1992 16:10

Well, rec.music.gdead has one, so we should too, right? I'm creating this
topic for embellishing the one thats out there and/or creating our own for the
benifit of all those folks who don't know what a DJRR is...

Yet another place where digression is the better part of squalor (huh?)

Have fun.

    No.

I believe the traditional method is to throw it outside. :-)

That's correct. Dates back to the Stone Age, I believe. See Flintstone

The correct technique for removing a cat from the interior
    of a dwelling is to
       1. open the door (or a window)

       2. grab cat by the tail

       3. twirl cat like a bolo

       4. IF
           a. cat begins emitting supersonic whistle
(evidenced by approach of neighborhood dogs),
                     AND
           b. vector of cat's motion is toward the
               open door (or window)
           THEN
               release grip from cat's tail
       5. get a cool one from the fridge.

    My mom has 7.

The best way to get a cat out of the house is to be really sweet,
pick it up, give it a little attention, and then

    	Huck it out the door!

Hell, they'll still land on all 4's!

wow... all this kitty stuff... pretty amusing... :^) our kitty died
    last weekend... :^(

even though i am now a kitty luver (wuzn't always), one of my favorite
books in my bookcase is one given to me a while back by a freind before
i was converted to kitty luvin'... it's called "how to kill your
girlfriends cat"... :^) it was an appripriate gift at the time...
i was moving in with a woman who had two kitties and i was not too
thrilled with the prospect of 3 roommates (the least fuzzy of the three
was the only one i was interested in)... the relationship didn't work
out, but i did move out liking cats so at least one of her ambitions
was realized! :^) (at one point she let me name her kitten "so you'll
be closer"... she wasn't thrilled when i tagged him as "Alpo" :^)...

so, if any of you guys are ever moving in with someone who has a cat
that you simply can't stand (much as you may love the owner), feel free
to borrow this book... i could significantly improve your life! :^)

sparky... the kitty is about 6 mo old, drk gray, light orange mix,
