I'd flip if they brought that back, and I can't see why not.
Other possibilities include Cosmic Charlie I'd guess... and
hey, why not, Viola Lee Blues!
I wouldn't want to hear St Stephen unless it was given proper
treatment, like lots of jamming followed by The Eleven ;-)
Ken (who may have to settle for hearing shows on tape only)

I don't know if it ever went away, but I saw The Music Never Stopped in
Pittsburgh (Apr. 2, 1989).
As a matter of fact, I just checked my mini-dead-base, and they played it 12
times in '87, 13 times in '88, and 7 times in '89. Also, it was played for New
Year's Eve 87-88.
I am glad it is still around cause I love it!

I think it's Bobby singing the words myself:
some got 6 months some got one solid
some got one solid year indeedy
some got 6 months some got one solid year
but me and my ?buddy? yeah we got lifetime here
Acutally I think Wier and Garcia sing some of together but Weir
seems to be more prevalent.
It's been a while since I heard this so I'm a gonna listen to it tonight...
