Hello, I have some novice questions about alpha2100 4/200 When you do upgrade from 1 to 3 cpu what should you take care of ? when you add memory board do you need special revisions of board or firmware or hal ? If someone known about a pointer to a cook book or something looking in that way it will be welcome. Thank for any answer Patrick

Adding CPU or memory modules is straightforward and requires no excessive brainpower. Typically with memory though you will want to put the higher-capacity memory into the lower numbered slots. Jim

Adding the 3rd CPU module will require a second power supply if the system is a pedestal system. Also, the power supply configuration jumper on the SIO module will have to be set to the correct position. Good references are the SOC, the Service Manual, and the Owner's Guide. -john
